Taking massive amounts of vitamins and water seems to helping. The cold is getting a bit more bearable. Hopefully it will continue to try better since the weather is nice and I would like to get outside and use the pool etc. I just don’t feel up to it while all stuffed up.

Started my new class, so far it is a dud. Hoping it gets better as it goes along.

Managed to come down with a pretty good head cold that has knocked me out. I am drinking a lot of water and planning on some spicy chicken soup for dinner tonight to try and loosen things up in my head. I have a pretty good headache as well. The trip was good, got to see some family I don’t see often. It was nice to catch up with everyone.

My “Enterprise Security” class ended yesterday and my “Windows Server Networking” class starts today. I am pretty sure that the “Enterprise Security” class went well the grade should come out in a week or so.

Heading to MA this morning to visit with family. Taking my conference calls from the road and monitoring school during the drive as well. Good thing I am just the passenger and not the driver. The good news is the 3G connection from the iPad seems to work fine.

In week 5 of my Enterprise Security class and the learning team project is due this coming Monday. I think it is going well and we should be ok. I am heading north to visit family for the weekend, the challenge will be making time for school. Next Tuesday I star my Windows Server Networking class. I am not sure what to expect for that one. I haven’t worked with Windows Server since NT 3.5. It should be interesting although I never expect to work with the product. With some luck it will focus more on networking and less on Windows.

Stayed inside helped Dad upgrade to Windows 7. Pretty much just hung around all day. We watched the recent Travolta movie “From Paris with Love” which had a bit of violence to it. We also had cheesesteaks from Joe’s for dinner. I haven’t had one in quite a while, they were as good as I remembered.

The lines were too long (couple hours) so we checked out the CRRNJ terminal for a bit and then went for chili dogs. We then fixed a couple things around the house including a loose shingle on the roof that may have been leaking in the last big rain.

I will try to post more often though. I got an iPad recently and it has a decent app for blogging. All I really need is something to go on in my life to be worth posting. My dad is visiting this weekend so maybe we will do something.

So Navy lost to Notre Dame (a sad day). However, we came back and beat Northern Illinois in Dekalb, so navy continues having a great year in football. This coming weekend we have the annual Army-Navy game in Philadelphia. I am really looking forward to seeing Navy win yet another annual rivalry against the Black Knights. I have club level seats so no matter what the weather may bring I am going to be comfortable and expect to have a great time watching the game.
