Navy Wins Poinsettia Bowl 51-30 :: Campbell ties the NCAA bowl record with five touchdowns.

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

I haven’t had a moment to post regarding this, however, GO NAVY!!!

The Navy Midshipmen beat Colorado State at the Poinsettia Bowl this year. Last year they beat New Mexico in the Emerald Bowl. Navy seems to do quite well against the Mountain West conference for an independant team. :-) This was Navy’s third trip to the post season bowl games in as many years.

A special congratulations to Reggie Campbell who tied the NCAA bowl record with 5 touchdowns!

Vacation

Monday, December 26th, 2005

I have been up visiting family in Maine and Massachusetts for the last couple of days. It has been busy, but fun. Everyone is doing well, and seems to be happy. I will be home in a few more days.

Thursday

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

Haven’t posted in a few days. I’ve been staying busy at work. Starting tomorrow I am on vacation for most of the rest of the year so I have been cleaning up various issues around the office. I have 2 workdays remaining in 2005, it looks like next Tuesday and maybe the following Wednesday. So not much time left to complete any projects. I finished up the paperwork on a patent yesterday and sent it off to the lawyers so that will bring my tally to 4 patents related to network security filed this year.

Today I worked from home and made some baked goods for the family christmas gathering this weekend. I made brownies, and some cookies for folks to enjoy. We will be gathering at Mom’s to share each other’s company and enjoy a quiet family get-together over the weekend.

Black Nova

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

I reset the universe in Black Nova Traders today. We have an exciting new universe that has been greatly expanded to 25,000 sectors. The die hard BNT folks are already in there and working hard to develop their empires. Feel free to join in and have fun.

Dinner

Saturday, December 10th, 2005

Went to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse for dinner tonight. It was excellent as usual, I had the Beef Carpacchio, Filet Mignon, and an Apple Tart for dessert. We had Spinach Au Gratin and Potatoes Au Gratin for side dishes. The meal and the company was excellent I had a great time.

Snow

Saturday, December 10th, 2005

Well, we had about 9 inches of snow up here in Lake Hiawatha yesterday. When I went out to clean my car off I managed to lock myself out of the house. :-) I then had to drive up and pick up my spare keys from a friend. Never a dull moment around here.

Christmas Shopping 2

Thursday, December 8th, 2005

I got some more Christmas Shopping done yesterday. I think I am nearly finished. Mom and I spent several hours roaming the Short Hills mall looking for the right thing for the right person. I managed to find several matches. We then had lunch at the Italian place there before I headed back to work. I still need to find something for Carly. Hopefully I can get that taken care of today or tomorrow, even puppy’s need something to open Christmas morning.

Christmas shopping

Monday, December 5th, 2005

Well, I got a little more Christmas shopping done despite the snow and ice this Sunday. I hope to get a little more done this week. Mom and I spent a few hours down at the Flemington Outlets and found a few items that worked as gifts. I figure to make a trip to the Short Hills Mall this week and try to get a few more items crossed off of my list. :-)
