Yay! Getting my new furnace and air conditioner installed today. They just hauled my old furnace up the stairs and outside. The new one went down stairs a few minutes ago. 
The new furnace is much more efficient and should save me quite a bit over the years. The new air conditioner is also much more efficient and will also save more over the years to come. Replacing 23+ year old equipment with the latest model is a huge efficiency boost. I am also getting an air purifier installed on the furnace that will keep the house cleaner by removing dust and pollen from the air as it passes through the furnace. This should make allergy season much more comfortable. They are also installing a new humidifier on the furnace as well which should help remove some of the winter static I have been suffering with over the years. This new furnace is a constant flow furnace which means it keeps circulating the air even if the heating element is not running. By circulating the air constantly the house should maintain a more constant temperature and should need a little less heat overall.
